With our soft-starters, you can easily master the power-limitation required during the start-up of medium-voltage drives.
Our soft-starters enable the start-up of high-power electrical drives–even on weak grid, simultaneously protecting the machine from premature wear and tear.

Operation
High-power machine starters can be controlled remotely via a field bus or a galvanic interface.
Parameters are conveniently adjusted with a web-browser panel.
Signal lamps mounted on the control compartment access panel provide rapid feedback on system status.
For commissioning, service, and diagnostics, a display panel is integrated into the access panel of the control compartment for a user-friendly visualization of operational modes and chronology.
Operator protection
Separate low-voltage compartmentA dedicated low-voltage compartment for system control is completely sealed off from the medium-voltage equipment. Access of this compartment is possible during operation. |
Galvanic isolationIsolation is provided between the high-power equipment and controls via fiber-optic connections. |
Latching push-knobsPrevent inadvertant opening of access panels. |
Type-tested enclosure systemThe power equipment is housed in type-tested medium-voltage enclosures. |
Emergency stopExternal and on the compartment access panel. |
Access panel monitoringEmergency stop if the panel is opened. |
